Account Deletion & Data Removal Policy – Essex Super Series

The Essex Super Series (“ESS”, “we”, “our”) respects the rights of players, viewers and users to control their personal data.
This Account Deletion & Data Removal Policy explains how individuals can request deletion of their account and outlines what information may be retained for legal, regulatory or competition record purposes.

1. Requesting Account Deletion

Players, participants or registered users may request deletion of their account or personal data at any time by contacting:

To protect personal information, we may require reasonable verification to confirm the identity of the person making the request.

2. What Will Be Deleted

When a deletion request is approved, Essex Super Series will remove:

  • Personal profile information (name, contact details, player bio if applicable)
  • Private communication history not required for compliance
  • Non-essential participation data
  • Marketing subscription preferences

3. What May Be Retained

Under UK GDPR and regulatory obligations, we may retain:

  • Official match results and league standings
  • Financial transaction records required for accounting compliance
  • Disciplinary or conduct-related documentation
  • Anonymous or non-identifiable statistical data

Official competition results form part of the public historical record of the series and may remain published, although personal contact details will never be displayed publicly.

4. League Tables & Historical Results

Weekly tables, match results and Champions Week records are official parts of the Essex Super Series competition archive.

  • Names may be anonymised upon request where appropriate.
  • Historical results may remain as part of official records.
  • No personal contact or private identifying information is published.

5. Processing Time

  • We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.
  • Requests involving financial or regulatory matters may require additional processing time.

6. Withdrawal from Competition

Deleting an account does not automatically generate refunds for entry fees.
