Terms & Conditions – Essex Super Series

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in Essex Super Series competitions and events, and the use of any services
provided by Essex Super Series (“ESS”, “we”, “us”).

By entering a weekly event, registering interest, attending as a player, or using our website/services, you agree to these Terms.
For participants under 18, consent from a parent/guardian is required.


1. Registration & Eligibility

  • All participants must provide accurate, up-to-date information when registering or entering.
  • Where applicable, we may request proof of age or identity to confirm eligibility.
  • Under-18 participation requires parent/guardian consent.
  • We reserve the right to accept or decline entries to maintain fair competition, event standards and operational capacity.

2. Fees, Payments & Refunds

  • Any entry fees (where applicable) will be confirmed before participation.
  • Payments are processed by secure third-party providers; we do not store card details.
  • Refunds are not offered once a weekly event has begun, unless cancelled by ESS.
  • If a player withdraws, is removed for misconduct, or fails to attend scheduled matches, no refund will be issued.

3. Fixtures, Attendance & Commitment

  • Players are expected to be available and on time for scheduled matches during their event week.
  • If unable to attend a scheduled fixture, reasonable notice should be given to organisers as early as possible.
  • Repeated non-attendance, late arrivals, or disruption may result in forfeits and/or removal.
  • Organisers may adjust schedules where needed for operational or broadcast reasons.

4. Competition Rules & Scoring

  • Match formats, points systems and tie-breakers may vary by event week and will be confirmed by organisers.
  • Players must score accurately and compete honestly at all times.
  • Any disputes must be raised promptly and handled through the official ESS process.
  • ESS reserves the right to amend or void results where there is clear evidence of error, misconduct or rule breach.

5. Media, Streaming & Content

  • Essex Super Series matches may be filmed, streamed live, and recorded for replay.
  • By participating, players acknowledge they may appear on ESS broadcasts and social platforms.
  • We will not publish personal contact information.
  • Requests relating to images/video should be sent to ESS via the contact email.

6. Conduct, Fair Play & Removal

All players, spectators and staff must follow the Essex Super Series Code of Conduct.

  • ESS reserves the right to remove any player or spectator for misconduct.
  • Abuse, harassment, discrimination, aggression, cheating or dishonest scoring will not be tolerated.
  • Actions may include warnings, match forfeits, suspension, or permanent exclusion.
  • No refunds are issued for removals due to breaches of conduct.

7. Youth Participation

  • Where youth events are run, parent/guardian consent is required.
  • Adults responsible for under-18s remain responsible for travel to/from events unless stated otherwise.
  • ESS reserves the right to set additional conditions for youth participation where required.

8. Liability & Personal Responsibility

  • Players and attendees participate at their own risk and must act responsibly.
  • Participants must follow venue rules and any safety guidance from organisers.
  • ESS is not responsible for loss, theft or damage of personal property.
  • ESS’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to Events

  • ESS may modify schedules, venues, formats or streaming arrangements where necessary.
  • If an event is cancelled by ESS, refunds or credits may be offered where applicable.
  • Where external factors impact scheduling (venue issues, technical faults, unforeseen disruption), fixtures may be rescheduled but not guaranteed.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our
Privacy & Cookie Policy.

We comply with UK GDPR and do not sell personal data.
