After three weeks of incredible darts, Week 4 belonged to Steve “The Punisher” Chandler, who claimed his first Essex Super Series title in dramatic fashion!

The final saw Steve take on the reigning Week 3 champion, “The Sheriff” Josh Eldridge, in what proved to be one of the best matches of the series so far. The bull-up alone set the tone, taking three throws to finally decide who would throw first. That throw proved absolutely crucial, with Steve holding his throw to edge out Josh 2-1 in a thrilling final.

Congratulations to Steve, who pockets the £30 winner’s prize and becomes our fourth weekly champion.

Week 3 of the Essex Super Series Summer Grand Prix delivered another fantastic evening of darts, with some outstanding performances and a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

The standard continues to improve every single week, proving that the Summer Grand Prix is quickly becoming one of the strongest weekly competitions in the area.

🤠 There’s a New Sheriff in Town!

For the first time this season, the two-time defending champion Rob Good was dethroned!

Congratulations to Josh Eldridge, who produced a superb night of darts to become our Week 3 Champion, defeating Ant “Luckbox” Lyddon in the final to take home the £30 winner’s prize.

Josh was excellent throughout the evening, playing with confidence under pressure and thoroughly deserving his first Essex Super Series title.

👏 Matches That Stood Out

One of the biggest results of the night came in the quarter-finals, where Mitch Good defeated his brother and two-time weekly champion Rob Good, bringing Rob’s incredible winning streak to an end.

Mitch’s impressive run eventually came to a close in the semi-finals after losing to Ant Lyddon. Mitch did win the mystery box this week taking it away from the Luck Box so well done Mitch 🎯

In the other semi-final, Josh Eldridge overcame George Gee, who deserves huge credit for reaching his first Essex Super Series semi-final—his best performance of the tournament so far.

Another fantastic night of darts at the Essex Super Series Summer Grand Prix, with the standard once again rising as players battle for valuable league points and those all-important Finals Night qualification places.

Week 2 saw Rob Good continue his excellent start to the series, making it back-to-back weekly titles with another impressive display of scoring power and clinical finishing.

Throughout the evening, Rob looked composed under pressure and took his chances on the doubles when it mattered most, securing another £30 weekly winner’s prize and strengthening his position at the top of the table.

One thing that is already becoming clear is the increasing standard of play across the competition.

🎯 Essex Super Series Summer Grand Prix – Week 1 Match Report 🎯

The inaugural Essex Super Series Summer Grand Prix is officially underway, and what a fantastic opening night it proved to be!

With 28 players battling it out for crucial ranking points, the action delivered exactly what we’d hoped for. Competitive matches, plenty of drama, some excellent darts and a brilliant atmosphere throughout the evening.

🏆 Rob Good Claims Opening Night Glory

When the dust settled, it was Rob Good who became the first-ever Summer Grand Prix weekly champion.

Rob may be the first to admit he wasn’t at his absolute best throughout the league phase, but champions find ways to win. Despite a couple of close calls with matches that could have gone either way he secured enough victories to put himself in contention before stepping things up when it mattered most.

In the semi-finals, Rob showed exactly why he’s one of the strongest players in the competition, producing a superb 13-dart leg alongside two 180s to book his place in the final.

Waiting for him was Chris Wells, who produced one of the stories of the evening.

🔥 Wellsy’s Incredible Run

Chris didn’t even qualify automatically for the knockout stages.

After finding himself involved in the Nine Dart Shootout for the final qualification places, he battled his way through and then went on a remarkable run all the way to the final.

It was a brilliant effort from Chris, who grew stronger with every round before eventually falling just short in a closely contested final.
