🏆 ESSEX SUPER SERIES – WEEK 6 REPORT 🏆
🤠 The Sheriff arrests The Punisher!
Week 6 delivered another fantastic evening of darts, with 20 players battling it out once again in front of the live YouTube cameras.
In the end it was Josh “The Sheriff” Eldridge who reclaimed the title, defeating Steve “The Punisher” Chandler 2-1 in a tense and nervy final.
The final looked to be heading one way early on as The Punisher exploded out of the blocks, firing five perfect darts into the nine before completing a superb 17-dart leg to take a 1-0 lead. Josh dug deep to level the match before the deciding leg produced plenty of drama. Steve was left wondering what might have been after missing nine match darts. The Sheriff missing 15 himself yet managed to sneak over the line and ride off with the Week 6 title. Yeehaw!!
🥉 Semi-finalists
* Rob Edgar
* Ant Lyddon
Another strong showing from both players, who continue to keep themselves firmly in the hunt for Finals Night.
🎯 Quarter-finalists
* James Butcher
* Jason Summerfield
* Shaun “Chippy” Chippington
* James Bartholomew
A special mention has to go to James Bartholomew, who produced a sensational 12-dart leg completely out of nowhere! Rumour has it he’s now on Target Darts’ sponsorship watch list… (according to James, anyway!) 😄
😂 Match of the Night (Unofficial)
Honie made it back-to-back weekly victories over Chris “The Grinder” Wells, this time doing it live on YouTube. Chris may soon find himself in danger of losing his imaginary sponsorship with Johnson’s Baby Oil after Honie apparently used his tears for lube instead pinning a sublime double one to seal the win.
Gwaaaan! 😂
As always, thank you to everyone who entered, watched on the live stream and helped make another brilliant night of darts.
Huge thanks to our fantastic sponsors:

The league table is getting tighter every single week, with the race for the Top 8 Finals Night places heating up nicely.
See you all next Friday for Week 7… who’ll be the next name etched onto the trophy? 👊🎯
