🪨 ROCK SOLID ROB GOOD TAKES WEEK 7! 🪨
Seven weeks in and Rob Good once again showed exactly why he’s been one of the men to beat throughout the Summer Grand Prix.
Last time we couldn’t decide whether he was Good or Bad… this week there was absolutely no debate.
Rob was a ROCK. 🪨
Solid all night, Rob battled his way through to the semi-finals where he came up against Josh “The Sheriff” Eldridge.
Unfortunately for the Sheriff, The Rock doesn’t recognise the law. 🤠🚔
Rob dispatched Josh 2-0 to book his place in another Essex Super Series final — looks like the Sheriff might need to hand his badge in and spend a night in his own cells. 😂
🔥 THE OTHER SEMI-FINAL WAS A CRACKER
Steve “The Punisher” Chandler 🆚 Ant Lyddon
The Punisher came flying out of the blocks, firing in a superb 13-dart leg to take a 1-0 lead. 🎯🔥
But Ant wasn’t going anywhere.
He battled back to make it 1-1, sending us into a tense deciding leg where both players had their chances.
In the end, it was Ant who pinged the double first, booking his place in his SECOND ESSEX SUPER SERIES FINAL! 👏👏
A massive congratulations to Ant. He’s been there or thereabouts throughout the series and was now looking to go one step further….

Ant played some decent stuff but….
Unfortunately, waiting for him was a bloody great lump of granite. 🪨😂
Rob continued doing what he’d done all evening — nothing spectacular required, just solid, composed, relentless darts.
And eventually…

Another title for Rob and another reminder that when he gets himself into the knockout stages, he’s an extremely difficult man to shift.
Seven weeks down and we’re now getting very close to the business end of the Essex Super Series Summer Grand Prix. 👀
